Web programming consists of a few different languages. After the third module, the participant should have gain basic knowledge of the languages HTML, CSS and JavaScript within web programming. HTML is used to create the structure of a webpage, CSS is used for the design of the webpage and JavaScript is used to program behaviour. The purpose of this module is to gather confidence in communicating about the languages as well as try to use them i practice by writing code.
Content
- Description of how HTML is used to structure the information in web pages and how CSS is used for the design.
- Description and explaination of why JavaScript is the only true programming language compared to HTML and CSS.
- Write simple HTML code to structure information in a web page.
- Create a simple design of an HTML page by using basic CSS.
- Write basic programming code using JavaScript.
