This upskill-course consists of three modules: Mechanical Engingeering - from idea to product, Power Skills and IIoT/AR. The pupose of the first module about Mechanical Engineering is to develop a greater understanding about the development process within the technology industry: involving design thinking, manufacturing, 3D-models, mechanical elements and manufacturing possibilities. The purpose of the second module about Power Skills is to create an understanding of what Power Skills are and to enhance them within the Requirement Profile Meeting with tech clients. Lastly, the purpose of the third module about IIoT and AR is to get an introduction to what it is and how it is used within Mechanical Engineering as well as give insights about tools like Digital Twins and Machine Learning. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Increase knowledge within mechanical engineering and product development and create trust with tech clients 
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical elements and manufacturing methods 
  • Learn how to create 3D-models using a CAD system
  • Know what Power Skills are and the benefits of them
  • Knowledge of how to improve recruitment profile meetings and associated activities 
  • Knowledge about the importance of improved communication, learning and active listening when recruting within the tech industry 
  • Introduction to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and AR as well as how they are applied within the manufacturing industry
  • Introduction to tools like Digital Twins and Machine Learning
  • Practical usage of AR
