Course description

MODULE 1: Business value and preliminary study 
The learning focuses on mastering the initial phases of a project. These phases are intended to estimate the scope and requirements raised by the work encompassed by the project and the value of the effects achieved when the project reaches its goal. This includes training to produce a project assignment description based on stakeholder and current situation analyses. The learning also provides leadership training, such as team building and communication skills in project work. 

MODULE 2: Project control and implementation 
The learning focuses on developing the ability to plan, control and manage project implementation. The learning journey includes producing and executing a planning process, as well as foreseeing the problems and risks that a project may be expected to face. The participant learns how to handle changes in customers’ requirements and needs, competition and changes in the project environment. The course also trains the ability to handle various conflicts of interest and conflicting goals in the role of project manager and to balance the priorities and drivers of different stakeholders.  

MODULE 3: Planning a corporate project 
The learning focuses on working independently in a group to design and plan for a business or process development project.  The project work is done for an external client with a relevant assignment to achieve a desirable business benefit within an area of the company’s operations.  

Scope: 
The course covers approximately 400 hours, of which about 100 hours are teacher-led. The remainder includes time for private study (recommended time or more) and examinations.
