Tuff Leadership Training – Step 1, to lead individuals, is an intensive training program (34 hours in classroom or 41 hours online)  where participants are challenged to reconsider their mental model and develop new abilities and mindsets essential to a trust-based and truly coaching leadership style.

This document confirms that the participant has taken part in training and extensive practice that addresses the ‘being’ of leadership, how one is perceived, and one’s attitude and frame of mind.  They have spent time unpicking the traditional paradigm of ‘leader-as-boss’ in a down-to-earth, practical and tough way – with lots of true-to-life roleplaying cases and direct feedback. Fundamental to the program is that employees are capable of handling, and being responsible for, much bigger challenges than they normally are entrusted with. Participants are trained to appreciate and relate to the very real potential of the team.

• to deliver a negative message with clarity and respect  
• to support one’s team members to find their own motivation 
• Distinguishing one’s individual personal pitfalls as an empowering leader  
• Comprehensive, practical training in an empowering, coaching leadership
