Åsa Bodeborn has on the Skanska PDE completed:

PDE is a 6-month Skanska internal program for people in the development organization.
The program has an emphasis  on creating value for Skanska in the daily work by understanding Skanska business model, and on developing people in the PD organization to be better team members and future leaders.
Besides following and complete 3 modules in the program, the participants also conducted a coaching process running parallel with the program.

Module 1:

  • Conducting an English test from EF Corporate language (for non-native English-speaking persons).
  • Value creation and Skanska’s financial business model, by Bild & Runsten.
  • Skanska key-figures and business objectives.
  • Business assignment start-up work.
  • Presentation design and skills.


Module 2:

  • 5 days SML (Self Managing Leadership) and team development, by Companions for Leadership.
  • Keywords: Personal development and self-awareness, change management, be a role model is connection to Skanska’s values, team- and leadership training, be bold and pro-active in the daily work.


Module 3:

  • Presentation of Strategic business assignment:

    Worked intensively for 6 months with a strategical Skanska business assignment, sponsored by a Skanska business unit.

    The assignment has been presented for the European and US EVP’s and BUP’s in the development units.
